Doesn't it sound like it describes the death/decline of the Church? The attempted assasination of a pope seems too unimportant when it compares to the other forecasts made by the children. I cant remember the exact description on the prophecy, but it describes a pope walking through a war-torn city and then being hurt by a hail of bullets and arrows. I dont think that the pope was going to be killed by some arrows. Doesn't it seem like the people in the Vatican have either misinterpreted it or dont want to reveal what they REALLY think of it.

Sounds like a nice time for the church to say, "By the way, we think this decade-old event might be a reflection of this septuagint prophecy. Since we've had time to think about it, and devise our best conclusions to connect the two, we're saying it now, instead of then."

thanx,
