What song you wanna go out on?

Hey, not that I'm being deliberately morbid and apologies in advance, but its gonna happen someday to us all.

I was at a mate's funeral during the week and it was sad with all of his life's pictures on screen and matched to various pieces of music during the funeral. When it came time for his coffin to be wheeled out past the mourners to the awaiting hearse, Monty Python's 'Always look on the bright side of life' was played and it was one of the first times that I've ever seen a whole congregation laugh and cry all at the same time; a surreal moment, and I was thinking that is just so good.

So I'm thinking, irrespective if you plan to be cremated or just plain buried, and not that you expressly care too much, 'cause you aint alive anyway, but what song or songs would you want played (if you wanted them too) at your funeral as a fitting tribute or reflection of your life, particularly at your last curtain call.

I wanna be cremated, so I'm kinda thinking something like 'disco inferno'

I've outlived most of my friends and relatives so I don't believe there's going to be anyone that would want to want to watch me go "pooof!" . So I made arrangements with a creamatorium to just flush my ashes down the toilet to send me off!

Nah, I feel honored to be flushed away with all the rest of humanity. That water eventually gets taken out to the ocean BTW.

 

actually...cosmic if you want to be "flushed away from all the humanity", you should enlist into becoming an astronaut and do it in space.
