who should be put in power

If we do over throw the government in Afghanistan? Who then should we put into power? NATO to start and then what? Seems we can't trust anyone in this region. We've been slapped in the face repeatedly by the powers that be or the powers we put in charge so to speak. How do we trust anyone in the present state of affairs?
