View Full Version : What is your favourite smell
Jolly Rodger 02-16-05, 05:44 PM What is your favourite after shave purfume?
For me mine is Dolce & Gabbana
This is a great one, although no one is allowed to buy it because it is my smell
and for women is Jean-Paul Goulet(sorry Gaultier), like seriuosly women you want a guy to notice you buy this, everytime a chick walks past me wearing this my head will turn!
My Sexy Blue Feet 02-16-05, 05:49 PM I don't know about specific perfumes, but i think people SERIOUSLY underestimate the attraction of smell. I love a good smelling guy, even if it's just a nice deoderant. Linx has one smell out, yummmmm.......
Personally, for myself, i don't mind lasting, but the no. 12 stitch, i think it's a tommy girl one, is damn fine.
cosmictraveler 02-16-05, 06:09 PM I like a few of them,Cool Water,Dune and Aqua Quorum are my favorites.
spidergoat 02-16-05, 06:14 PM I like a girl's sweaty ass, but that's just me. Those perfumes make me nauseous.
cosmictraveler 02-16-05, 06:26 PM "Those perfumes make me nauseous."
Which ones? There are over 1 million types of mens fragarances out there.
spidergoat 02-16-05, 06:30 PM All of them.
I use Adidas After shave because I got a bottle of it for Christmas.
For deodorant I'm using "Right Stick". I think it's a generic brand for both Right Guard and Speed Stick. Double the flavor, double the fun.
I don't really know about women's perfumes. I certainly know some sweet smelling girls, but I haven't a clue what it is they're wearing.

i have no idea what my favorite perfume is! perfume?? hmm fav smell.
around july of every summer in boise some flower starts to bloom with the lilacs in certain parts of town, it might be hunnysuckle. it smells like heavenly perfect sex or something. i dont know. its intoxicating. it always makes me stop and stop and think about what an incredible unlikely miracle we're standing on. a giant mostly molten rock hurling and spinning thru and a cold and otherwise lifelless inhospitable space, somehow just the perfect distance from a fiery little star, somehow blessed with haven attracted the perfect elementals so that when the cool surface above the swirly molten middle of the rock hurling thru a cold lifeless inhospitable space is warmed just so and so a protective bubble is created to cushion and shield the surface from the cold space like a great sea above sea.. where moisture and atmosphere propagate tiny creatures that grow up out of the crystalline swampy moistness into more adaptive conscious creatures that eventually grow a consciousness where the hight of creation upon mind can experience itself from a particular and universal perspective. divisive multiplicity...
and then i pass out cold from breathing too deeply. hey so i have an addictive personality. who would've thought lilacs and hunnysukkle could do all that? or was it the wood rose tea... umm.... zzzzzz heh

Hey Jolly, I met a Frenchman whose passion was smelling perfumes and such. I just thought he was a fag, but it turns out it's a French thing? Who would have guessed....
Oh right, I did.

cosmictraveler 02-17-05, 09:42 AM I thought we were discussing the smell of after shave lotions and colognes. If you were asking about just something that smells nice then my answers would be the smell of fresh cut grass, the ocean mist, when a lightning storm passes the smell of the air after it is through storming, the smell of a new cars interior, popcorn poping in a theater, fresh made coffee, when you walk into a bakery the smell of fresh made bread, nitromethene being burned, bar-b-que with fresh meats dripping down upon the hickory and misquete logs and the smell of a fresh made strawberry milkshake.
Gondolin 02-17-05, 10:15 AM If I could smell like the post office, I would.
Jolly Rodger 02-18-05, 09:29 PM petrol
spidergoat 02-23-05, 01:41 PM On a side note, it is interesting what goes into perfumes...
Ambergris: As the sperm whale eats crustaceans, the inner lining of its intestine is scratched thus producing a coating that later hardens and is eventually excreted. Ambergris has a woody, balsamic odor.
Castoreum: A secretion from the beaver. Can be used as a fixative and has a leathery odor.
Musk: Secretion from the male musk deer. Adds a sensual note to perfume.
Civet: Secretion from the anal glands of a civet cat. Used as a fixative.
geodesic 02-23-05, 02:26 PM Mmm... ether.
Also, snow, cloves, anything being baked, although bread is generally best.

I thought Ambergris was whale vomit.
Assassin565 02-25-05, 06:50 PM Either Swiss Army Original (What is use)
OR Old Spice "Mountain Rush" (i use also)
the combo gets alot of "great" comments from the laldies
That is one big bollox about army perfumes. You're not allowed to use any perfume or deoderant, or after shave, because it gives away your possition. In the spec ops at least.
Assassin565 02-25-05, 06:55 PM Question why do they call it swiss army anyways? Do they not do anything except bathe and smell good? Whats so good about the swiss army anyways?
geodesic 02-25-05, 10:03 PM Whats so good about the swiss army anyways? They have excellent knives...
Jolly Rodger 02-28-05, 12:16 AM the swiss army are crazy barsteds and they smell dirty
Chairman_meow 02-28-05, 03:20 AM The Swiss don't need an army....they don't fight in any wars.
Jolly Rodger 02-28-05, 04:22 AM who asked you freak
Starthane Xyzth 02-28-05, 01:05 PM He's right, though... who was the last person to go to war with the Swiss? They'll probably still be stubbornly neutral and abstain, if a global government is eventually created.
Richard Head 03-01-05, 05:03 AM yeah mes all 4 da global govonmint bra, bring it on & get bushy out da whay
