I came across this video that features a report from the early nineties on this new thing.....the internet. Strange to think that something now so familiar was, quite recently, virtually unknown. It ends with, I think, a more modern interpretation of the internet's usefulness.

Honestly, I remember my own grandmother describe the internet as "just another one of those fads...". Oh my... how differently things turned out only a decade later...
