Billy T- chelating as I use the word refers to forming bonds with atoms, usually stronger than hyrdogen bonding, whereas your talk about internal voids etc makes me think of Zeolites. Can you clarify please?
Some sort of zeolite with internal treatments so you could stick all these different atoms to it might work, but it would be very difficult to make, and also fairly pointless.
