What is the best company to buy a PDA from?

I was just wondering wht you guys thought. I just bought a Tungsten T and really like it. But my friends say I wasted my money.

Good question. Depends on what you're looking for. There is a big difference between a PDA (think Palm) and a Small computer that fits in your pocket. I own a Sharp Zaurus SL-5500. It's a Linux based PDA that can do anything that a PC can do basically. I can run a webserver off it, I can play Doom on it, I can watch full length Divx movies on it, Mp3s, surf the internet, and do all the regular PDA stuff. I bought it because it also comes with Java so that I can do my own programming for it (or I can write it using the QT interface). Overall its a good PDA, and a GREAT pocket computer. I paid 200 dollars for it. It's got a full color 320x240 screen and built in hidable keyboard.

If all I wanted was a PDA, I'd go with an inexpensive Palm, they all do the same thing, but for functionality, I love my Sharp, especially for the price.
