What instrument do you play or want to play ?

What instrument(s) do you play and/or what instruments do you most want to able to play ?

I guess SAM plays or wants to play the violin

I am kind of amusical myself, but I would pick the piano I think.

I played the violin from 7th grade to 12th grade, however I didn't take it seriously so I did not learn anything or play that well.
Well I learned basics.

i played the sax but gave it up... thinking about picking up playing the guitar thats lying around here....

 

If you could wish to be able to play one instrument really well, what instrument would you pick ?
And the wish would be granted of course. Just needed to add that to beat any nitpickers to it... lol

 

The violin is incredibly hard to play.

I would love to be able play the piano.

Couldn't afford it growing up and move around too much now to be able to devote myself to it.

I began playing a mouth organ when I was 8, making up my own tunes. At 15 I started playing blues harp and at 16 I got my first guitar. Between '85 and 2000 I wrote music using a DAW with an electronic keyboard. 3 years ago I bought a Tzouras, which is like a cut down smaller version of a Bouzouki but with a very distinctive sound and I played that to death for a year or so, again making up my own tunes. Whenever I find a piano I sit down and improvise on it but there's no way I'm a piano player; I do love it though, so I shall be getting one soon.

 

Piano. Self taught. Have three or four nice peices fairly well polished off including Beethovens Piano Sonata No. 14 (moonlight sonata) and Bach's "Toccata and Fugue".
