What, exactly are concepts in terms of mind?

Blah, there are probably more than a few here familiar with my frequent usage of the term "conceptual inter-relationships", blah blah.

I feel a strong notion as to exactly what that means, but I find concepts themselves to be very tricky to properly define in a meaningful way, but either way I think they are the organizational building block of the mind, and key to comprehending mind's function, etc.

Man there is too much to be said about it, yet they are so simple in a way. To me, the actualization of the concept is one of the most important things to ever occur in the history of the universe. Blah blah, enough about that.

Okay, as a meager tease to get the ball rolling.

Concepts are what develop based on (subjective of course) experiences in time, as similiarities in stimulous note action and reaction at first, developing into the more complicated "relationships" later on. Concepts themselves (coupled with current stimulous) in their development establish "context" which shapes what is taken from new stimulous.

A "relationship" is formed from the abstraction of subjective time, and added to or taken from over time as stimulous and the current context/stimulous impact them. When new relationships do not fit into the existing interrelationship set, new relationships can be formed.

One of the properties of concepts that fascinates me the most is that they are crystaline in the sense that you get different information from them depending on the "angle" from which you look at them, if you follow.

    Now you.

    I SAID now YOU.

Uhm.. please. Unless you suck, then please don't bother... but most people don't suck, so you're probably fine.

a concept is a pathway through neuronal interaction that has been made through subjective experience. it is a pathway that connects certain memories through certain relative similarities (favored by the unique structure an composition of the brain). these connections are the physical equivalent of an idea about how an aspect of the world around you works.
