(lock and delete thread if this has been done b4)

Here's mine:

<a href="http://img143.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=45416_Desktop_122_554lo.jpg" target=_blank><img src="http://img143.imagevenue.com/loc554/th_45416_Desktop_122_554lo.jpg" border="0"></a>

Abit boring, the wallpaper is cool tho.

I have about 200 pictures of all kinds in a folder linked to a program that automatically changes my desktop every minute.

ADD, Sam?
I go mostly for pictures from APOD: http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/archivepix.html
or landscapes by Yann Arthus Bertrand: http://www.yannarthusbertrand.com/yann2/affichage.php
or pictures I've taken myself.

Nah mine is an eclectic mix, all sorts of pics I like that I've taken, collected, downloaded, etc.
Though I'm using some of Mr Anonymous' pics now, from the picture thread. :)

Oh my God - thank you, geodesic! I used to use those Bertrand landscapes a lot as wallpaper, but lost the link a while back. Now, thanks to Sciforums (and you!), I have it back! You have no idea how much this means to me, as they really are fabulous, and have been sorely missed! I plan to harvest all my favourites before the link goes missing again!

Everyone else should check 'em out too - they really are something special.

I've been meaning to have a spring clean for a few months, but never quite got round to it. Maybe some day soon - defrag, organised folders, etc :)

When I used slackware (for about 3 painful weeks), I had this. It was a while ago as you can see - kernel 2.4. something.

OK I fixed it smaller.
It's my desktop. I use 2 screens for my desktop so I have 2 desktops.

The first image is my desktop.
The second image shows my IE homepage maximized on the left screen. And today's journal log entry on the right screen.

If anybody can make it smaller, please do so. It seems a little large for this post.

Em.... Lix... y'sort of need to drop that down to about 800 - 600 pixels in width, the rest will come down with it. Still bouncing the browser out I'm afraid...

I'm afraid I've had something of a Bond vibe on the go for the past few years. It's very unusual for a chap....

And today's journal log entry on the right screen.

Muaha!!!
"Nothing happened today."

I wonder how many pages and pages of journals entries read as follows:

"I woke up.
I got dressed.
I went to the bathroom.
I went to school.
I left school.
I went to bed."

Or. To sum up.
"Nothing happened today."

And to combine the mirth of "nothing happened today" with that oh so prodigious buddy list from Trillian....
My.
The contradiction that is our boy Cool.
I see he has Backslash on his buddy list. That's got to be several years of silence from that 'buddy'.
I guess it adds meat to another wise empty existence of "Nothing happened today."

Ok.
I'll stop.

Ha!
