Recently Ruroni Kenshin, whenever i can catch it. Yu Yu Hakusuko...didn't really appreciate it at first but now it doesn't seem so bad. Angel....i don't know if thats what sci-fi fans would call sci-fi but i love it...the story is very engrossing and well thought out. I can't stand Yu Gi Oh but Cartoon Network started Trigun and i have to check that out. DBZ always and will always rule.:D

Why not Yu-Gi-Oh, sarge? It's awesome! It's a brilliant marketing scheme! :D

Exactly why? The whole show is a giant commercial for the card game. I seriously can't think of a more genereic, cliche ridden show than Yu-Gi-Oh. You are right, it is a brilliant marketing scheme but the product they are marketeing doesn't really need any advertising at all. It's a card game aimed for 7-14 year olds...come on seriously...kids that age buy anything or more rather their parents buy them anything....at their age impulse shopping and glossy packaged products rule.


Pokemon use to be good but then they forgot that one generic script might work for 20 or so episodes but one exact same script with same plot won't hold on for 100+ episodes.

True about the ages, yet it has managed to suck in more than the targetted audience; namely me and even older fans. Of course, I won't buy Yu-Gi-Oh related stuff, but obviously something is working because I watch it everyday and get antsy when I don't. :D

I agree about the Pokemon thing, that's why I liked Digimon better. At least there was a conscious storyline, instead of mindless battles. Yu-Gi-Oh has battles, but they are planned-out and have actual strategy and variety.

You are cool in my book dude. I think Futurama didn't get it just deserves. Fox could have stuck with the show for a while and see it become a hit for them. I am sure Simpsons wasn't a smash when it premiered but i guess Fox was struggling back then and needed anything to be on there channel.


Cowboy Bebop; are they planning any new episodes for that show, any spinoffs etc etc....it's sad that show ended, amazing show however.

I totally agree with you about Futurama, although its nice having it on everynight at a time i'm usually home as it is now.

There's a cowboy bebop movie being released in the US right now(or maybe it already has) I don't know if its actually new or not though.

FOX is stupid. it could have been the next big show for them. like Son of Simpsons or something like that. at least now i can watch it on Cartoon Network(reruns only i think).


and the cowboy bebop movie was made a while ago. it's out now in the US. but it's not a continuation of the series, it happens between sesion 21 and 22 or something like that. it's basicly just a long episode.

Family Guy, DBZ,Kenshin, and Trigun are what I like to watch at the moment whenever I can catch them.

Currently into Flame of Recca right now, after reading 4 books of it off the Net! I tried to download the first episode, but that was a bust because I only got audio. Does anyone else know FoR?

I'm watching Enterprise (it's getting better), there's are no other decent series currently airing. I'm really just waiting for the next Stargate series.

Anime: Excel Saga, Cowboy Bebop, & Trigun are my current anime favorites.

Scifi: I like watching Enterprise & Tremors (go Bert) but justabout everything else I like the various stations are killing. DAMN YOU SCIFI! I WANT MY FARSCAPE!

Are you talking about DBZ....and Goku..........i have recently discovered some interesting anime Mystery of Necronomicon....yes quite interesting and um...down right freaky.

There are two anime shows I watch: Cowboy Bebop and Reign: The Conqueror.

Most of the science fiction shows I enjoyed watching are now off the air. I watched Farscape, Lexx, First Wave, Dark Skies...

The only show I watch that is still on the air is Andromeda.

sargentlord: Nah... excel saga thingie. Everyone gets killed and ressurected umpteen times an episode. (very wierd but fun show.... extremely nonlinear) One of the characters just drops dead at the drop of a hat but brings herself back after a few minutes.

Cowboy Bebop is one of the coolest anime I have ever seen, it is highly stylized, the music is genius, and the plot and characters are masterfully sculpted.

It is my favorite anime.

I haven't really been watching much, just Macross Zero and other assorted goods........

Anime: Neon Genesis Evangelion, Trigun, Kenshin, Bebop, Lain is alright, DBZ, Bastard, Robotech is classic, Furi Kuri (FLCL), and Excell Saga, Golden Boy, Love Hina, and Cho-bits, Ranma 1/2, Gundum wing, Zoids.....

Series: Earth 2, Seaquest, American gothic, Random Star Trek series, Babylon 5, Sliders, earth: final conflict, most of the series that don't make it past a year or two, Highlander.

If I catch any of it on, I'll watch. I don't much Television though.

well i prefer VHD (Vampire Hunter D for all you insolite fools that dont know), and Robotec for anime dbz's ok too. For sci-fi any thing dune (my favorite)... but as long as its sci-fi i'll watch it. i just thought of some more anime yes of course its the one the only Those who Hunt Elves
