I've been thinking, the WTC have received a lot more publicity than the Pentagon (for good reasons too). Am I the only one that finds it rather odd that the plane just happened to hit a basically empty area of the Pentagon just as it was being renovated? I'll bet anything that the US government was just using the renovation story as a cover. I doubt they would schedual a press release saying "We lost several key documents including the launch codes to 76 nuclear devices, intelligence reports from the last 2 months in over 17 countries and oh yes, the authorization codes for the laser defense grid we have positioned in space (believe me, it's there)." Much easier if the public thinks it was being renovated don't you think?

The renovation has been taking place for quite a few years, ironically to "terrorist-proof" the Pentagon. By happenstance, nothing more, the plane impacted the section which had just been renovated. The most important things in the Pentagon, nuclear codes, and the very, very secret things are in safes that can withstand much more destruction, or in underground valuts and rooms. I'm sure the Pentagon didn't lose anything too valuable, except for the lives of the workers.
