Anyone here got a polittics degree? or has a job in the public sector which I could use a Politics degree to get into. Describe what your work in the area of politics has in store.
* i know a guy who has a Masters in political science ==> unemployed and unemployable * i know a girl who has a Bachelors in political science ==> works in some government job, helping people become employable (teaching them interviewing skills and other crap like that) there really isn't much they can do
Teach political science, kiss enough babies to get elected to some government job, or work as a stooge for someone who kisses lots of babies.
in order to go to lawschool (or med school) you first must get an undergrad. which undergrad? doesn't matter. so people usually choose the easy or stupid undergrad degrees like psychology, poliSci, philosophy, archeology, or other crap that wouldn't get you hired after graduation. so as a precursor to a REAL degree, Political Science isn't that bad. but as for a standalone degree it's almost useless.
