I was even surprised when i saw this bull*#*. This just proves Gibson is the dumbest american alive. (Or he's getting paid by the administration for shit like this.) The latter is probably true.

Prefferable to the Clinton News Network. Or 99% of the 'Death to America' channels out in the world.

I have had the opportunity to watch contenental european news shows and they were all mangled in their own right.

Interestingly, the Europeans were all proven right about Iraq, and Bush was proven wrong.

This is all part of the cover up. Bush 'n' Co. thought screw Bin Laden, we are going to Iraq, and many essential CIA agents just left. The ones that stayed were investigated and smeared if they disagreed with this madness.

No, we "Europeans" were not right. How could we? In reality, we were deeply split on the whole issue, making it perfectly clear that this whole Union deal still as a very long way to go.

Although, if you are referring to French-German axis, that's an entirely different story.

There were reports of Bush telling his subordinates that he wants to go to Iraq before 9/11 even happened.

Anyway, CNN swings to the far left, Fox swings right, both are highly influenced by corporations. What ever happened to classic investigative reporting? The news should be a separate entity that has no influence. Of course, we know this is impossible.

CNN is NOT far left. If anything, they are skewed towards the right. FOX is far right. Reporting the real news doesn't seem to happen much these days, maybe since all major news outlets are controlled by 6 people.

It's funny that the righties are trying to spin Rove as the whistleblower. The neo-con ship of fools is running aground. The rapid choice of a new supreme court nominee is another sign they want to deflect attention from their crimes.

I have never detected left-wing bias on CNN, not even a hint. if anything they're a bunch of moderate right-wingers. More accurately they're a bunch of negligent tools who let themselves be used by the administration in power. Generally a shame to journalism in general. What ever happened to critical thinking or investigative journalism? Seems to me that they're too worried of being accused of having a bias to actualy do their jobs.

I'll say. They're saying that he should be given a medal? What's this tripe? Good thing we have guys like Rove around to blow the wistle on under cover CIA agents for political retribution! Take that national security! Those liberals gotta' understand that there's consiquences for speaking out against the almighty Bush!

CNN pretty obviously has a right wing bias, though its more of a Lou Dobbs brand of right wing bias than a Sean Hannety right wing bias, so to the adverage radicalized republican it may look left to them.

This would actually work out rather nicely. Two stations both constantly spewing out false propoganda.

    Too bad it's not true.

all news is fair and unbiased, it jsut a matter of whos definition you use. fox actually believe bush is good, so by their definition they are fair. the search is not for fair news. but a fair view which can put them all into perspective

So does Jon Gibson seriously believe that Karl Rove deserves a medal for what he did (allegedly), OR does Gibson and Fox News feel that Karl Rove is someone who positively helps this country, so they make up lies to help keep him out of trouble.

The problem with FOX and all the other major media outlets is that they don't actually report news. They broadcast opinion and they present it as news. FOX even advertises itself as being "fair and balanced," which is absurd - real news is supposed to be straight facts, and thus cannot be fair or balanced because there shouldn't be any opinion attached to it!

For example, 2 + 2 = 4. That's a fact. There's no "other side" to present to "balance" things out. That's how the news is supposed to be.

Instead, everything is owned by corporations who donate to the very people in power whom they're supposed to be reporting on. News Corp. owns FOX, Disney owns ABC, Viacom owns CBS, GE owns NBC and MSNBC. You have literally a handful of corporations controlling every media outlet.

You know what else GE does? They make materials that are used for making bombs and other things for which demand increases during wartime. You think a news channel owned by a company that profits from a war is going to report exactly what the deal is? Or are they going to spin things in their favor and disguise it as news?

The level of conflict of interest is absolutely absurd.

    Better watch BBC.
Maybe it has some local agenda, I don't know, don't live there, but it has an excellent world news service.

I actually watched the BBC following 9.11 because they had better coverage. They even had better video footage of it than what the American networks were showing.
