I was looking for some new music to get into so I decided to petition you good poster. Give me some artists, groups, M.C.s what have you that you have heard. I like Hip Hop not the radio shlock you hear on 90. whatever but you know more in the style of Aesop Rock, Atmosphere, El-p that type. Please no lectures on why u dislike hip hop I dont care.

no offence taken i dont even talk to him anymore, im not gonna stick up for him. i remember when he wrote "i luv u", his musical focus has changed since he is not underground anymore. because he always used to do harder grime stuff. but he actualy likes rock music and other stuff like that, and you can see it comming out in his later music.

but to be honest some of his new stuff is ok.

    peace.

im not really into hip hop much (metal for me) but i really like Scribe. He's a New Zeland hip hop artist. His album The Crusader is really good. i bought it a few years ago and i still listen to it.
also, i havnt heard much of either of these guys but what ive heard is good, P-Money and Brotha Black (also NZ artists) are good too. P-Money and Scribe did a song together called Stop The Music and it was really good, so i suggest you check it out.
like i said, im not really into hip hop, so what i like is probably alot different from what you guys like, but there you go anyway lol
and oh yeh, they all have really strong Kiwi accents, especially Brotha Black
