I'll grant that the source is biased, but I think it's instructive.

I do think that, if and when it comes to war, Iraq would be rebuilt - if only so that we could install a puppet like in pre-revolutionary Iran.

Remember to use the word "terror". Use it about Saddam Hussein, use it about Osama Bin Laden, use it about Yasser Arafat, use it about anyone who opposes Israel or America. Bush used it in his speech yesterday, 30 times in half an hour — that’s one "terrorism" a minute. But now let’s list exactly what we really must forget if we are to support this madness. Most important of all, we absolutely must forget that President Ronald Reagan dispatched a special envoy to meet Saddam Hussein in December 1983. It’s essential to forget this for three reasons. Firstly, because the awful Saddam was already using gas against the Iranians — which is one of the reasons we are now supposed to go to war with him.

The article does have a good point. We do seem to be pointing the terror finger a lot these days.

Israel are the real terrorists in the middle east. The Arabs have never invaded us, but since the first Crusade it's been nothing but Western intervention (for "Judaism and Christianity") over there...

I'll grant that the source is biased, but I think it's instructive.

Robert Fisk, who wrote the article, is British, probably the most respected foreign correspondent there, and is the Middle East Correspondent for The Independent in which the article first appeared.

Thanks MacZ, guess I need to do a bit more research into my writers! :o

Israel are the real terrorists in the middle east

Yes. I will not say that Isreal bears full blame for their situation, but they bear much.

Biased how? Because it was written by somebody whose country's leader is Tony Blair? Bullcrap.

It must be biased, he has a diffrent view point than my TV! Mr Fisk must have let the locals influence his thinking. Bush knows more than just oil, he knows how to cut taxes.
Now my TV says evil people caused terror in Bali. There is only one thing to do, attack some muslim country to bring world peace. Obviously Saddam and Ozzie Bin Laden did it, plain as day.

Proof that Binny did it! (http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/allnews/page.cfm?objectid=12285852&method=full&siteid=50143)

P.S. My tongue is blue and thats the truest thing in this message.
My tongue really is blue, could have been green, but no.:(
