I just went into XP's account manager thing to remove my password and I saw that there was another account on mycomputer called ASP.NET or something. It was a limited account, without a PW so I just deleted. Does anyone know what the hell that was? When I started up, it never gave me the option to use that account or switch to that account once logged on...weird.

    Your system was hacked, maybe?

Well I'm going to guestimate here, but since it has ASP mentioned in the account name I would guess it was an account to allow accesses to programs served from your machine as ASP (Active Server Pages)

On a linux system you would see from the file structure and a webserver like apache that files that are viewed on the internet need to be "Others" enabled. Others being different from a server running at user or group privileges.

Windows on the otherhand is a bit different, since it doesn't use that architecture (In fact only NFTS allows multiple user privilege access).

the ASP.NET account might have been created as apart of some package like a webdevelopment one of something similar.

    hope that aids.

You weren't hacked...it's just an account that gets created when you install some .NET packages. Here's a posting to comp.security.misc:
