Hey guys i was wondering we need new members. how are we goign to go about this, every new memeber which comes on board is usually punced on by the Baron and sacred off, they have to have pretty thick skin or have the same view as him to last here. if ol'baron does not notice them they are ok. Anyway more importantly, do you guys think we need new regulars or is everyhting ok. if we need new regulars how we going to get them in. Repro man in the other thread gave me a good idea, perhaps we could ad ourselve son other forums and stuff what do you think? ~~~~~~~~~~~~ As always zak

well yes he is an icon of what i cant say, espicially if bells is around!! But how do we expect anyone to last long without very thick skin, when at the end of a Baron tirade Ok then if it is a bad idea. we should then be allowed to insult and use very offensive langauge to defend the newbies without fear iof infractions or bans on these exceptional occasions. in the best interests of sciforums. ~~~~~~~~~~~ Best zak
Only a fool would subscribe to a forum without checking it out first. Visitors read a few threads before signing up and so should be aware of the type of rhetoric that bounces around here. I've noticed a few newbies around here lately, but if they can't make the course, then tough.

well i remeber poor "neversaynever" on like her first post baron launched into her. mind you she came back about 2 days ago. alright then Muthafuckit!!! we wont have new members and we can just carry on with the same old same old muthafuckin terrible situation if you ask me. tabh how many newbies have you seen around??? i aint seen many, yes i know they shoudl check us out first but being on the end of somehting is different to checking it out. why are you guys being so cold on this. things need to change IMHO i was pm Plazma
Well. The politics forum is lame for one thing. So who cares if we get new posters in there (Muaha!) But, seriously, maybe the Baron is an excellent gauntlet for our newbs to run through. If they can survive him, then they might be able to survive the forums at large. Maybe. He is a bit of a pussycat.

Baron Max is so transparently weeny; I don't think he scares people away, it's people like Invert and Ophiolite that newbies should beware of upsetting.
