George Bush and company, with the emphasis on company, have declared the moral high ground. But a declaration is not enough, it must be backed with the intentional slaughter of civilians and soldiers alike. Well not really alike since far more civilians die during and after a war than soldiers.

The moral high ground can not be scaled by the Pope. Not even in a 4 wheel drive pope mobile. The Pope can only decry the Bush wars as immoral and illegitimate. Saddam aka Stalin has no claim on the moral high ground but can claim thousands executed by his decree.

France, Germany and even a world court have also claimed the moral high ground. To the victor will go the spoils no matter who gains the high ground. The majority of the world is against the war but all the elite minority need do is call them an enemy rabel.

Only George Bush and Company have the money (our money) the stamina (our stamina) and muscle (our bodies) to ascend to the top of the heap and claim the moral high ground as his own. Standing on the summit before the blood has even dried, with sword in hand he will crow and brag of the freedom he has wrought. With a moral mandate the costs of his profits will be ignored like an unidentifiable corpse.

The moral high ground is never moral but it is always about what is in, and on the ground.

How you would like to work for a firm that has a little over 500 employees?.

Out of those 500, 29 have being accused of battering their wives, 7 have at one time or another being arrested for fraud, 19 accused of issuing checks without funds, 117 have bankrupted at least 2 business, 3 have previously being arrested for violence, 71 can not get a credit card due to their bad credit record, 14 have arrest on drug charges record, 8 arrest record for fraud, 21 are currently charged and in legal process for various misdemeanors.
In 1998 along, 84 were arrested for drunk driving.

Can you guess what firm am I referring to??

They are the 535 Congress members of United States.
The same group that passes changes to laws to keep regular people at check and fanatically active and passive give the blind eye to the Iraq invasion issue.

The worst part of all that, is that it is True!

Yup, this is the "Embodyment" of the American government and law huh.....
When GWB said after recruiting yet another ex CEO (From Enron no less) into his folds "With all these CEO's we will run this government like a business".
Given the history of the majority of most of the CEO's.
Of Fraud, Theft, And bankrupting their companies to line their pockets and walking away with the cash...you have to wonder just what kind of company GWB has in mind here.

Does that make things better or worse?
