I figured this would go better here than in the religion forum. However, mods if you see it best to move it to Religion, by all means do so.

Whose faith?

Believing in yourself could also be considered faith in oneself so would this

then hold true then as well?

Well, from what I've interpreted of the article (which it doesn't look like you read), it is any faith...the 'belief' part of your brain. This was a study done with a fMRI scan.

So , as I stated, you can believe in yourself and get the same results then.

To me it seemed like the tests done so far were not about faith, but rather belief. Harris intends to do a test with faith and compare the brain activity to that with everyday belief. He has expectations about the results, but these have not come about yet.
