The headline pretty much sums up the essence of modern liberal democracies, especially USA. Sometimes I wonder (seriously) if "matrix is real". Occasionally, I think that conspiracy quacks claiming that Earth is ruled by alien master race are onto something :)

Remind me how many relatively peaceful modern liberal democracies are in active wars again?
