I did a speech recently on American Fascism in English class. Now, despite being rejected by the department as acceptable to be read in front of the whole school (which is what the speech winners do in my school), it received interest from a UofT professor who knows my dad.

He wrote a reply to my speech in which his one complaint with my speech was that I did not include the impending war against China.

He says, U.S. at war with China by 2015.

    Why?

    IP Newswire. Dateline Paris, 2050.

The US vowed this week to step up it's military campaign
in the Bay Enclave of northern California. US Soldiers
launched shoulder-mount rockets over the hills
of the Bay area into several areas now under Chinese control.
President Allen defended her use of force against
Petaluma, Alcatraz, and Alameda as 'necessary steps
to stop the aggression of the Chinese Army'. Meanwhile
ambassador Chu reiterated his country's policy was
merely in retaliation for the December 8, 2049 US missile
attack on China Airlines flight 903, which killed 400 people
in space and 20,000 on the ground when the craft's
nuclear engine crashed and detonated in downtown Beijing.
"We cannot allow the US to continue to threaten Chinese
citizens, for whatever reason. We will not stop until the
bases from which flight 903 was downed, namely the
East Bay missile defense complex sites, are secured and
    under Chinese control".

US officials claim the flight was one of 7 that had been sent
over the past 5 years by China to bolster it's New Taiwan
island, a manmade suburb of Taiwan that many believe is
merely the first step of an invasion. The US officials also claim
that the long-range missiles sent from the northern US location
were merely 'sniffer missiles', and that the Chinese detonated
their own plane in order to score a propaganda victory.

Europe responded strongly against the violence, saying it was
a tragedy for both countries. "This is just as bad as the Mid-East
war 50 years ago. We all know how that ended." said French
delegate to the EU Surya Bonalie, referring to the Iraqi nuclear
attack on Tel-Aviv that killed 250,000 people in November of
2003. "The EU will hold full sanctions against both nations
    until the war is stopped".

Many observers point out that sanctions from the EU are of
small significance when the EU now exports most of its goods
to Africa and South America. But others point out the symbolic
nature, saying that the EU is trying to send a message to it's
oldest ally, the United States. The US-Europe bond is strong, and
goes back as far as the second World War, over a century ago.
Whatever the result of the sanctions, it is likely that neither side
of this conflict will be persuaded to stop.

President Allen has held off the election claiming a 'state of
national emergency', and having all those with 1/4 or more
Chinese ancestry to be rounded up into 'patriot camps'. China's
Premiere Ju Rong-Ji has used only the harshest language,
referring to the US as an 'arrogant brat of a country', that must
be 'disciplined in the harshest possible fashion'. Reports from
congressmen inside Washington attempting to work on a peace
deal indicate that the administration has been hostile in the
    extreme to any negotiations.

The citizens of the East Bay, as well as those of the random
Chinese cities targeted by US superweapons, know they have a
    long wait ahead of them.

Of course, in 2050 the entity known as "the United States of America"
consists of only about 400 non-contiguous square miles, including:
    • the District of Columbia
    • the District of East Bay
    • the Old Faithful Geyser Pay-Per-View Treaty Zone (contributing 48% of U.S. revenues)
    • various Federal Hazardous Waste Storage Facilities
...as the rest of the former Union seceded during the E-Cash Tax Rebellions.

You know Goofy, you could write a nice Clancy type novel out of it and get rich....

You know that by 2050, we will have AIs running amok. They are the ones that will command and control....I plan to upload my brain and hide out in a satellite out there.
