I am in the process of rebuilding my basement/cellar bar room. it came with the house and someone had put a good deal of effort into making it some years ago. It is very retro, unfortunately I needed to redo the walls but have saved the bar and its walls 1.6x 1.6m I'll add pics later, as I'm certain the wallpaper that they used is no longer available. I want to maintain the feel of the room and have been looking for wallpaper on the net for 3 days now without luck. So I thought maybe one of the members here might have a lead for me. If you go to this site and click on dames the background is somethinglike what I need and I do mean NEED any help is appreciated.

Matching the other wallpaper is probably going to be virtually impossible. Instead of wasting your time with a match, go for a paper that compliments the existing paper .....like, pick out a color of the existing, then get a plain-type paper with that color in it. And ditto with contrasting colors or patterns.

It could be a little expensive, but you could have the wallpaper printed for you.

Take some of the old stuff to a graphics place and get a high quality scan done, send the image to people who will print custom wallpaper and have them print off however much you want.

(not sure if all the links work or if any of them have prices)

If you want to do something this wacky, you don't need to follow the old-fashioned rules about matching. Just pick something that fits the same mood and has a reasonably compatible set of colors. Go crazy, it will look great!
