I think that the amount of characters should be increased just a tad (btwn 10-15 characters). I usually use up most of my space, and I would like just a TAD bit more. Sound good? :D

Actually 5 would be nothing more then the word "when" and a space. Not reasonable, 10-20 characters would be more reasonable. If someone uses all 20 they run the risk of losing the consistency of a short message.

How do you add a user title in the first place?
Is it the "I thought it was a nice pic." wording under our username?

10-20 is WAY too long. I wouldn't read anything that long... I doubt many people would.

Exactly jadedflower that's why some people wouldn't do it, but why deny them the option?

because it becomes visually unpleasant to have endless lines of characters in your title.

Well I doubt that 20 more characters would create the scenario you implicate, but I also share you fear should the # of characters go too far.

If you have something interesting to say that is longer than 10-20 characters you might consider making a new thread or a post.

Interestingly enough you can't post anything under 10 characters.

Solution:

- put your short message in your user title

- put your long messages in a post
