Well, how does that sound? It seems to be all over the News - well, maybe not all over - but people are talking it up and to tell you the truth, I think it seems like the best option.

Get both what? Pieces of cr@p? Get the ex-POTUS who has embarrassed himself beyond belief? Even their own party is turning on them.

I think the only decent candidate the liberals had was Edwards. He was the least offensive. Although his poor, son of a millworker routine was getting old.

The liberals' two choices are pathetic.

Well, Bush and his failed Presidency are even a greaer embarasment. The view on RR has changed over time, but I doubt it will be the same for W.

He will be a footnote in history, unless ofcourse he starts WW3 before he leaves.

He will be more than a footnote, although people don't usually want to remember bad stuff.. here I would gladly say "Lest we forget", if it prevents you lot (the USA) from electing someone else like him again. We here have to keep watch on both of our conservative parties.

I would lose ALL respect for Obama if he chose Hillary as his running mate, or accepted a VP position from her.

I support Obama, I will NEVER vote for Hillary.

I think that's nonsense, they are both type A personalities and won't settle for playing second fiddle.

Like I mentioned in a different thread, choosing Hillary as VP would definitely hurt Obama in the general.

Hillary would never accept VP. Obama will be the VP candidate as a potentiat stepping stone to the Presidency or the nomination in 2012 if Clinton loses to McCain.

If Hillary gets the nom, she won't need someone like Obama. It's more likely to be Clinton/Biden, or Clinton/Richardson.

If Hillary gets the nom, it increases the chances for a Democrat loss. Not a significant enough increase to say that the Republicans will win, but enough to confidently say that Obama is the D-party's best bet to get the presidency.

I've always believed that it would be a Clinton/Richardson ticket. The recent love fest between the Clinton & Obama makes me start to think otherwise.

HIillary is going to choose Indiana Senator Evan Bayh as her V.P. This will help her with the White Male vote. She doesn't need Richardson, because she has already has a majority of the Latino vote. And Biden is to unattractive to have as a V.P.

And I think Obama is going to choose Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill as his V.P. This way he doesn't alienate the Women voters who were supporting Hillary:) Plus, she's been shadowing Obama alot lately.
