Some of these items had more than one possible answer that may or may not have been available in the choices. A more rigorous (but extremely similar) test is the Ravens matrices...

i got a whopping 18%
i guessed at over half of them.

41%. Most of it I didn't really understand, but I only guessed once. I tried to see the patterns in all the rest. Shows how good my pattern-seeing skills are! :D

That was fun. It's just a percentile, though, so it depends who else has taken the test ... and if it's a small sample so far, the relative scoring could fluctuate a lot.

93%... though I had trouble remembering the images long enough to manipulate them. Fun test though :)

Man. What a bitch these things are. It would be nice to know which ones I got wrong. And why. Trying to find the patterns is amazingly difficult. Sometimes you just have to say fuck it and go with intuition. The right half of the brain is a large part of dealing with these sorts of images anyway. And it has no voice....

41%.

If I didn't see the pattern in the first two minutes of studying the image, I just randomly picked a letter. I ended up picking a lot of random letters.

79%. Pretty difficult, but fun.

Where did you find this test anyway? I like tests of IQ... I find some neat puzzles among them :) I find visual more appealing though.

Verbal is also not one of your strong points, eh? :D ;)

I originally found the website using a extension for mozilla firefox called stumbleupon, which pretty much takes you to a random top-rated website in an area of your liking (based on what you choose). Neat program, and really helpful for finding new websites.

There is no pattern there, what a joke man! I hate these dumb things, I just draw my own lines in an make them the same.

No patterns? What you are supposed to do is choose the image that best completes the pattern in the simplist manner.

Simplest ? Who's to say which one is ? That's one of the things I'm referring to when I say that many of the items have multiple valid answers: either you can find another valid answer that isn't part of the choices, or more than one could apply depending on how you wish to look at it. That's the sign of a 'badly designed' test. Still, pretty enjoyable.

Well you are right. The simplist solution to me is the solution that I think up first. However, when I think "simplist solution" to the question is the one that is most efficient in continuing the pattern ad infinitum. What makes it a bad question is if there are at least two solutions using my latter definition.

A quote form Mr. Albert: "Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius -- and a lot of courage -- to move in the opposite direction." Though I guess you can interpret it anyway you want :)
