Last night, I saw Vampire hunter D: Bloodlust. That was an awesome flick, man. I don't remember who, but on my Violent Cartoons thread, someone recommended it to me and I thank you, sorry I can't remember who you are. Has anyone else seen it? what was your favorite character? I'd have to say that I rather liked Grove. Could you not tell that all those vampire hunters where going to die?

Thanks, JoojooSpaceape

Good flick, one of the better animes I've seen in recent years.

There was a series too, wasn't there?

There was Vampire Hunter D and then it's sequel, VHD:Blood lust. Only series I can think of related to them.

That movie is awesome. :D Bloodlust was alot better than the first one. I think so anyways.

I found the original to be a lot better then the remake. Bloodlust had amazing animation but every villain just dies to easy (assuming Bloodlust is the remake, i confuse the two). The movie had brilliant villains but they all died such anti-climatic deaths...especially the last protagonist. Any how it is still better than most anime movies out there.

See the original Vampire Hunter D and also Perfect Blue....it is completely different then your traditional anime.....and here's the shocker why

No giant robots, no cute animals with powers, no magic themes, no magic it self, no aliens, no characters with way more power then anybody of their size should have.

It's more like a mystery thriller albeit a amazing one.

Bloodlust was weird since it was made by an Italian animation studio but is still an anime. I saw it a few years ago and it was very good.
