The weather is finally fine so I can sit outside. Except it is really hard to read the laptop in the sunshine, because of either glare, mirroring or shadow.
Is there some kind of filter that makes it easier to read the screen while outside?

glare filter
Yeah $45 from 3M, and I don't care for antiprivacy. The problem also exists in the shadow, all I can see is myself because of the mirroring effect.
I will work out something homemade...That pixel sunscreen ain't bad...

Anti-glare on ebay is a lot cheaper. Does anyone know if it is good enough to allow you to work outside?

The only effective way I've found to deal with direct sunlight is to avoid it altogether, and sit in the shade.
I've also used my laptop while sunbathing. The way I dealt with that was to bring a small 4 legged table with me, and used it under the table.

Be very very careful if got a laptop with pigeon shit on it. These things don't only happen in cartoons
