I've started one or two, and I've joined a few.
    (Too few to mention)

I've posted a few posts on other people's Groups, and a few people have posted on mine. Most of this activity has been in the first month.

Are any User Social Groups actually successful?

    If so, which ones?
If not, maybe we should clear a bit of cyberspace debris by deleting the lot.

    Let's have a Poll.
If you do use some groups regularly, and it has been more than a month since they started, tell us which ones.

    F*** thyself Kremmen!
    Sincerely,
    Sciforums???

No. Not really. I don't know why those groups are so unsuccessful, to tell you the truth.

I started ONE. It was about gardening. I meant to post pictures and do more with it. I figured maybe it would have some interested parties. After all this time, only one other person joined. It was pathetic. But then again, so am I.

I don't eat vegetables or admire flowers. I sacrifice people and shapeshift and drink blood and all.

    Love,

Face it Captain. You really suck at starting polls and successful threads.

    Can we agree on that?

    Okay. Perhaps not.

What DO you do here, by the way? Are you a shift manager? A shit manager?

It's a group which has a special interest. You can start one and send out invitations to join.
Once you join it you get a little picture on your home page, and you can post on it.

Someone has said they post many times a day on one.
I wonder if they understood the question.

For months I have been annoyed by two "social group" invitations to join taking up space at top of my screen. There seemed to be no way to say "No thanks." Finally I decided to join, but not be active, just to get my screen uncluttered. Then I discovered that near end of the join process you can say No Thanks (in top right corner).

This is a public service message for others having this same problem in saying No Thanks.

    .

groups and stuff are useless, not like on facebook, besides, there's no chat bar, or even a chatroom.
