I for one am glad that Im an american where at least I know Im free. God gave me that right. Unlike all the heathens in places like canada, austrailia, and that one middle eastern country that I dont like, but I dont know where it is... Have we nuked it yet?

Im not one to follow the news, but I can tell you that I have recently. I know for a fact that Saddom is hiding weapons of mass distrconstruction. I think I saw him one time down at the Texico. I should probably call that tom ridge guy.

Now, I didn't vote for Bush, and neither did my lovely wife. But I do know that Bush isnt for terrorism, war, or rape. How do I know this? Well, its obvious that no one likes rape, and no one likes war, and no one definently doesnt like terror. So its obvious that everyone is against it... And if your not for war, then we'll bomb you and make you go to war, and call you terrorists. Then nobody will support you or try to save you, not even those gay french people.

I wasn't centering on you, Microzoft. You're not the only one with anti-american views, and what I was saying was that the root of the evil is in foreigners.

Anti-americanism is rampant in Europe and the rest of the world. Don't you think Saddam is just gleeful over the protesters? I haven't seen as much anti-american views in my life as I have in two weeks here. I've got my grievances, but the country as a whole is pretty nice, and I love it. I've never been wrongly accused of anything, and the government has never done anything really bad to me(Besides making me buy weed on the down low... but hopefully that'll change).

Did the US government honestly interfere into your life directly and do something unjust to you? I've heard a lot of uproar about the Patriot Act, but have you ever heard of a US citizen who was abused because of it?

I'm a World Saver... ahh, I get it, you're calling me the US. I wonder what would have happened if we hadn't helped out in World Wars? We are the World Saver, the only superpower in the world, and I'm glad that we use our power for a lot of good things. Thank your lucky stars Germany didn't win the World Wars, or Russia. most of the world has a problem with atacking a coutry sitting there doing nothing

most of the world has a BIG problem when the country doing the atacking threatens to unleash Nuke war

most of the WORLD sees that those who will die are those already suffering, the inocents, especially children (i dont think a woman is any different to a guy and shouldnt be awared any more protection than a guy)

most of the WORLD has a problem with a country that thinks international LAWS are there for its own conveance

 

The US has defended three countries that were just sitting there doing nothing: South Vietnam, South Korea, and Kuwait. Remember Kuwait? Iraq attacked it, for the oil, yes. And now i't lead by the same man, you see? There is sitting and doing nothing and then there is sitting and doing "nothing."

What do you think Saddam is going to do with the billions he makes from selling oil? Nothing? There is nothing wrong with deposing the tyrant. We're just finishing the job that we started, and it's about time. Iraq mocks international laws, and attacked Kuwait for no reason. He should be brought to justice, not paid billions.

Ok, I'll surrender, simply because I'm tired of arguing. Saddam is not a tyrant, he is a benevolent dictator. He has an approval rating of 99% because he is so nice. And the billions that Russia and Germany pay him for oil, that money will go to charity, of course. He doesn't have biological weapons, probably never did, and even if he did, why should it matter to the UN? Their laws don't matter anyway. If they did, they would have enforced them when they first knew he had biological weapons.

Ok, let me phrase it differently. When I disagree with our government giving over 1 billion to CIA without the obligation to justify its use. Or disagree that with the excuse of “Suspected terrorist” it’s putting in jail several hundreds while depriving them from their rights or even allowing international monitoring such as the Red Cross. That I don’t like that we, together with Israel collect the largest number of incidence of Veto in the UN and disobedience to UN resolutions and international law, and hypocritically demand by use of force other nations to comply with UN resolutions. That we have conducted acts and provocations of War against sovereign nations unilaterally without international support and when it suitable to us, we demand for international consensus to support our foreign policies.

…If thinking like that makes me Anti-American, I really wonder what’s really American to people like you.

I personally don’t call America a free country when the great percentage of tax revenues doesn’t go back to the people in an efficient medical basic insurance, social security, unemployment and a dozen more services like in Western Europe where they even enjoy between 5 to 6 weeks holydays a year. America, where we don’t have the right to demand transparencies on our government fiscal policies and accountability, they can label anything as secret when it is convenient. Our politicians tell us all the time that we are free and that God should bless America. So far, I only see them having all the freedom that they want.

First, if you study pre-world war news, you’ll find all what we really did, second if you check at the number of war criminal that we brought to US without prosecution because of own interest, you’ll find our interest in those wars. And last, if the Europeans didn’t come to our continent we will be still dancing around the fire.

The responsibility to apply international law?, The responsibility to teach by example? The responsibility to not abuse power? What responsibility are you referring to, I hope none of the above!

What’s so bad? Well not much, really. If we forget that we have created those dictators, that we deal with dictators even if they were conducting crimes as long as it was beneficial to us.
But then again, our translation of Patriotic American fundamentalism means not to question what we allow our government to do, because they know it better, right?

Well, I am American and I don’t let the shit blind my vision. And who ever whant to be that kind of American patriot be my guess!
