Does any body know the logic of computer companies hiding their license agreements in those tiny text boxes where it's almost impossible to read them?
Why not use the whole page like they do for everything else?

I just signed up to PayPal and they had two such boxes only five or six lines deep!

I had to copy and paste them into a word processor so as to read them, and they do contain important information.

One day some poor soul is going to be taken to court and when asked why he broke the license, will reply "Have you ever tried reading them?" and get off.

Heh.... I wish things worked that way

Unreadable license's what?

And maybe they're trying to save space? I don't know. It does seem kinda stupid. And I wish they weren't so long and wordy. Then I would read them.

It's not just licence's or EULA's, you have to watch out for hidden catches through other poor design and poor layout out (or just cleverly made entrapments). In fact I mentioned of such a poor design when Ebay stung me for a fee I didn't know about, the simple answer is to boycott such companies so the mistakes are never made again (and of course tell everyone about it, since it would be unfair to let them be entrapped too)
