therefore the universe must be finite in size!
that doesn't put that the space is finite

I cant really c how Douglas Addams his quote would imply/defend such a view . If its because of the imagination thing , thats pretty silly rhetoriks wouldnt u say , making 0,1 into 0 is unlogical

    good for u , i dont

my objective in linguage is the communication of information , and it seems u got my point perfectly , no following of useless rules seems necesarry .

and besides that , howd u know i dont try , maybe im simply incapable .

    but anyways .

I believe it to be infinita based on the skeptic argument , we cannot know anything for sure . Something being finit implies possible finit knowledge of it , however this isnt possible since we cannot know for sure that we know , thus it is (more likely to be) infite . But we cant know that for sure either , its simply more probable .

infinity of the universe and knowledge are paralel to eachother .

Atrocious logic. We can't know for sure whether the universe is finite, therefore infinite is more likely.

    no its not

"But we cant know that for sure either , its simply more probable ."

somethin being probable doesnt fit into the fallacious system of logics .

If i woul say IT IS , instead of its probable u would be right

    but i didnt
    so ur not

You have not justified the claim that infinite is more probable.

Yes I have , i have done that in the first post .

And i base it on the skeptic argument that we cant know weither we know or not (we cant be sure about anything) .

Something being finit implies a possibility of maximum knowledge , whitch like i said , we cant know .

Conculding from this would be indeed the illogical deduction of , it IS infinite " .

But we cant know that for sure either , thus it is most probable .

Like when u walk on the street , do u KNOW u walk on a street , or that u even walk at all ? But it IS probable isnt , it ?

It is probable because of the assumption u make , so if u wish we can switch the word probable into assumable .

It is assumable that the universe is infinite .

I'm sorry, but that does not make any sense.

No, finite means the volume of the universe if measured would be a finite number. It has nothing to do with our ability to know anything.

No. The universe is either infinite or finite regardless of our ability to ever know which is correct. The fact that we cannot know (though we may be able to prove that our 3 dimensional universe IS finite) does not give any more probability to the infinite option.

well , thats the question , isnt it ?
At least u have to acknowledge the paralel in :
Infinite Knowledge - Infinite Universe .
Weither it depands on oneanother is the question , but that the system worx similar is a fact .

Thats the question , but its irellevant actually , as long as we can never coprehend everything (since everything is infinite) , how can a universe ever appear finit to us ?

what if lets say the universe has a finicy of 100 for instance , how can our knowledge be infinite then ? Can we know more than the universe we exist in ?

And besides that , if lets say our knowledge is 10 right now , and the universe has a finicy of 100000000000000 , how would we ever coprehend it , in order to say , it IS finite ?
We couldnt , so we just as well call it inifinite .

Perhaps im wrong in the debate of probabillity , but my main point was that we couldnt know weither its finit or infinit .
The biggest argument of NOT saying its finit , is simply because it would be ridiciouless to call something "Knowledgable"(because that is what finit also implies) , when we know absolutely nothing of it .
