Hey southerners, haven't you learned after the last 5 decades that the Republican party will keep you in bondage! No wonder the map looks the way it does. No matter how bad the conservatives shit on their constituents they have no worries because all they have to do is blame the democrats for their faliures. Conservatives should take the advice they give to Blacks . "Don't blame whitey, blame yourself" So don't blame the donkey. Blame the inept creationsist you've elected.

That's it, blame brownie and blackie. There's no blacks in Montana, and that state is poor as shit. There's no blacks in South Dakota, and that state is poor as shit. Take your own fucking advice. Stop blaming blackie.

Compare this 2004 election result in Alabama to poverty result. The red area is full of blacks.

If you read the Map, you'll see that well over 50% of the total population is living in poverty. I mean come on, look at the southern leaders. They believe the earth is 6000 years old. A leader is a reflection of his constituents.

No where does that link make any indication of race. You fail at debating.

Blacks vote about 90% Democrat. Those counties are full of blacks I assure you.

edit: And anyway, those poor areas vote democrat no matter what race they are.

Most (rational) people know that you can't make some one richer without making someone else poorer. Imgine how you'd bitch if the red started going up in New York and California...

    Plus---

The Rio Grande Valley (along the Texas-Mexico border) is a democrat stronghold, and most of the people there are poor and Hispanic. They are poor because there is no real money to be made there---there's just cattle ranchers, deer hunters, and mesquite. Their reps are democrats---check for yourself. They are congressional districts 15, 23, 25, 27, and 28.

I don't know about the other states, but I'd bet there's a similar pattern, as Soduku said.

The average median income for a white southern male is 24,000 a year. That has nothing to do with the amount of blacks living in the south. It's the leadership failing to make policies that improve the economic status of all people.

The whole capitalist economy is a pyramid scheme, of course there would be more poor than rich.

But as for thier ways, old habits die hard. Check out the other thread, a classic response from their brotherhood. In response to "should we nuke china?" the-average-white-guy responded "we should sort china out." LOL, such typical language to boot as if other people and countries are their playground. I hope they beat the living shit out of someone like that if they ever try it.

When things don't go their way, they blame everybody else too. And there is no dire threat and that is why it's so heinous, just other countries trying to better themselves though they make mistakes. That's terrible to exaggerate a problem when they have also been the fair share of troublemakers.

That's simply not true. Although, it is a common fallacy used to propagate class warfare.

If it was true, how do you suppose a country full of several million Indians living off the land became a country of several hundred million people where people in poverty tend to be fat with air conditioning and watch cable television?

The Congress of the United States was controlled by the Democrats for over 40 years during the past 55 year period. If you want to place blame on the lack of higher wages, no health care or any other problem you care to mention then thank them. Please check out what you're saying before you accuse anyone of all of the problems that are facing America or have faced it.

    That's a pretty stupid counterpoint.

Should I tell you why you're wrong, or should I let you figure it out for yourself?

Lets see. Maybe, several million indians barely living off the land fast forward to several hundred million fat and happy people under the premise that some have to get poorer before some get richer. I await your reply with trepidation.

I find it instructive that you use the existence of impoverished southerners as a club to beat up Republicans instead of as a proof of Democrats' selfless actions to raise up out of poverty the very kinds of folks you presume to speak for as their idealogical champions.

All you Northern/Western/Eastern Democrat do-gooders still haven't figured out how to eliminate poverty in the South after almost 150 years.

Great track record for the Party of the Little Man, the Little Woman, and the Little Children.

But, hey. There are stupid, dumb f'k Republicans and Independents needing to be beat up for the feel goods.

Screw the real little people; let 'em watch. We're all comfy, and stuff. Real Little People aren't our problem.
