Greetings,

I'm hoping someone can help me out with a .uif type file. From what I can tell, it's a type of image file. What I'd like to know is what apps I can use to access it.

TIA

Universal Image Format(UIF) is a powerful compression image file format for backuping CD/DVD. It is fast, reliable, and has rich set of features which include password-protected, data encryption, MD5 checksum support and much more. UIF can not only contain the complete data of CD/DVD just like ISO image, But UIF also supports backuping multi-session CD/DVD, Audio-CD, VCD, SVCD and DVD-Video.

According to http://filext.com/file-extension/UIF, UIF is MagicISO file.

I've used MagicISO before and it works pretty well. Here's a link that you can use to download it.

I got this information in a few minutes by typing into Google (you guessed it) "UIF." Google man, it's good stuff.

lol... thanks.

But... I already knew all that info.

I was simply hoping I might get away with a different app that might be able to handle that particular file format. Seriously, this needs to get standardized. I'm a happy Daemon Tools user.. and now I have to install another app. Arrg.

Thanks anyways.
