I'm so lost, can you guys help me? I had this running before correctly but now I've no idea how to make it work again. Could you explain what the hell this is?

Why does it show me 2 printers wirelessly when there is one? Which one do I select? I know this has worked before but it's being bizarre saying no printer is found on said bla bla, yet it shows them? Any ideas

I've dealt with this on my daughters netbook, but that's Windows7. You might try removing the two entries for your printer and then select "Find Network Printer." That would be my impulse. Maybe first wait and see if anyone has a better plan.

I found out what to do, adding a printer is easier using the web interface http://localhost:631/admin

Just goto add printer, then type your username and password. It came up with 4 possible printers to add for some reason I chose the first entry and then it finally began to print. Even without using CUPS to add it and going through Ubuntu it still adds the printer into the CUPS web interface telling me it's just not showing me all possible options in Ubuntu (2 instead of 4). Anyways now that I know HOW to do it I am printing fine.

Cool. Glad to hear you resolved the issue. On what kind of system are you running Ubuntu? I'm thinking about giving it a try on my Toshiba laptop.

http://event.asus.com/eeepc/microsites/eeebox/en/index.html I have the B202 which was the first one released.

Ubuntu is very impressive to me, it blows OS X away. I have mixed feelings about Windows 7 but if Ubuntu supported Netflix and iTunes it would definitely be even more amazing. The main thing I like is the PPA system used, and the terminal, and WINE. ok I like everything in it lol I don't use the Unity interface I just book into the classic. Also GNOME SHELL may cause me to think it sucks and switch to Kubuntu instead :Z
