I was watching a documentary on Discovery about conspiracy theories. Apparently, 48% of Americans believe in UFOs, 27% believe in alien abductions by these UFOs, and 2% of believe they personally have actually been abducted by these UFOs. What the f***? Is it just me or has the world gone mad?:bugeye:
The world indeed is in the process of going mad. However, America stands erect as a pillar of of sanity and prudent discretion. Be of good cheer.
The world is the same as it always has been, cold and eternal. The world is not just Earth and human activities...the world is universe.
People are idiots. Look at how many of these dorks still insist "genuine" crop circles are made by UFOs, "magno-vortexes", or whatever even after the guys who pulled off the stunt stepped forward to show how they did it. If "space aliens" are stupid enough to zip all the way here across the interstellar void just to kidnap a few mental mendicants and slice up some cows, then any estimate of them as "advanced beings" seems to me to be 101% crap.
2% of the US population is about six million people. The difference between Bush and Kerry's 2004 popular vote was less than half that. So basically Bush is President because of alien abductees.
That number shouldn't surprize anyone. More than that believe in ghosts, horoscopes, and other equally insane things. Why not think they've been abducted, too?
UFO's are real. You must understand the aliens have been here for quite some time, infact since the early 1890's they've been working on a plan to integrate their species with ours. I've said it before but perhaps I should make a more detailed story for all of you :shrug:

Nope. Which is why the current term is UAP - Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon. "Flying" implies control. Just because something unidentified is seen in the sky does not mean it is "flying".
