View Full Version : UFO Spacecraft Designs
I have read in a few places(that frankly must be taken with more than a few grains of salt), they(craft/beings) manipulate gravity with incredible force. There is a "slow" speed method of hovering travel, and another phase-shift slingshot method. It has been reported that the beings both do not and DO feel relativistic effects(anywhere from 100s of years to a few months). It is hard to cut through misinformation on this subject for very obvious reasons. Basically - wow ZOOOOOM ZOOOM, is all anyone can really say about it.
Ok.. .. .. this looks like fun.
How would you design a UFO-like spacecraft... what things would you use?
I'll think about it for a while and post a hypothetical design. I know draqon would enjoy this, stidying aeronautics and what not.
Reiku :m:
Nikelodeon 10-22-07, 03:08 PM I would make it out of a fluid.
redarmy11 10-22-07, 03:11 PM It'll all sink to the bottom, silly.
Nikelodeon 10-22-07, 03:12 PM Oh yeah. OK I'd use very powerful magnets. Attached to a nuclear reactor.
shichimenshyo 10-22-07, 03:16 PM Heres the design that I just did 10 mins ago...I made it up...and noone else

Nikelodeon 10-22-07, 03:17 PM Does that thing have magnets?

Yes, it has everything, even things you just made up because I thought of them and made them up first..plus it has metal...and guns..and ninjas
:-)
Seriously guys... what about some kind of machine that would allow a spacecraft to quantum tunnel, or using tachyonic matter for something... come on... be imaginative.
Nikelodeon 10-22-07, 03:26 PM Mmmm, possibly one made out of Lego.
Would it be abnything like the Phoenix Lights UFO?
Yes nick... i wonder why scientists haven't thought of that one yet... forget the fuels, just build one out of lego... that would acheive thousands of light years... not.
Nikelodeon 10-22-07, 03:31 PM that would acheive thousands of light years... not.
Well it would. Eventually. Provided someone gave it an initial push.
redarmy11 10-22-07, 03:33 PM What about Meccano? It's a far superior technology.
Nikelodeon 10-22-07, 03:39 PM Yeah but you need a spanner.
spidergoat 10-22-07, 03:42 PM Ok.. .. .. this looks like fun.

There wouldn't be any. They beam themselves directly into our brains.

I wouldn't use a spaceship at all. you would need a place to store food water ,provisions spare parts etc.. I would develop a way to create a portal in time to transport myself instantly anywhere just like in the movie Stargate.
Nikelodeon 10-22-07, 03:44 PM But you need to make another stargate at the other end first.
cosmictraveler 10-22-07, 03:45 PM Take a portable one with me. ;)
Take a portable one with me. ;)
I think there's an information paradox in there somewhere.
cosmictraveler 10-22-07, 03:52 PM Why? If you take another one with you then you just need to set it up wherever you end up and transit back home.
Theoretically speaking, this is not consistant, because if you move through one portal, you need to come out at another time through [another] portal. This would all happen faster than light, in a subreality which you cannot set up another portal. You would first need to move through spacetime, set up two portals, lightyears away, only then can you move through one portal, and hope to come out of the other end, which is also another seperate portal.
Instead, you could leave one end of a portal beside a quark-star for a few hundred years until it has been warped by the gravitational effects long enough, that one end has aged lots more than the other. Then you could jump in one end and come out the other, either in the past or the future.
cosmictraveler 10-22-07, 04:00 PM Or just send a preprogramed Stargate to another place and it automatically turns itself on.
That would take i calculate, to the one the most distant galaxies, 50,000 years... that the third cloest neighbouring galaxy, i think. By that time, we will probably be able to reach something called the Planck Energy and create wormholes... but they would be useless without the discovery of exotic matter.
cosmictraveler 10-22-07, 04:06 PM Its a start, better than a spaceship.
Maybe not. It really depends on the circumstances.
I know that superluminal suggested a theory that aliens don't experience relativistic effects, but this really wouldn't make sense, since quantum physics states that it rules over all space and time.
But inflation when it cooled down, would have left vast area's of spacetime moving at different speeds... some galaxies then are moving relative to us at near light speed... so one can assume that we live in a relatively slow part of the universe.
Aliens could use that kind of natural speed to reach us in 100's of years or so. They may have even increadible lifespans. We already know of creatures on earth, like the tortoise that can live hundreds of years.

UFOs are using a different form of energy than what you will find in current physics books.
Go to this website and read about a theory on ufo propulsion and possible design to make it work.
