The strategic nuclear bunker buster bombs that (illegally) went into production last month has retroactively been OK'd by the US Congress. (rubberstamped).

The propoganda that they only clear out caves and bunkers is a lie.

They are a bit more powerful than the Hiroshima bomb.
Yes they will penetrate50 feet underground at their full detonation but that will insure hundreds of times more fallout than an air burst. Tactical to the extreme if one hit the Eiffel tower it would level Paris to the suburbs.

The administration has its modern day Dr. Strangelove that has been lobbying that nuclear war is desireable and winable for the last 7 years.

For those of you who would like to meet him...

Sounds reminiscent of Air Force General Curtis Lemay...

But, honestly when has anyone had to fight to capture Parris? If we were going to start a war in Europe, I don't think that our first concern would be taking out the French.

A typically sneering post. Believe me, the french would probably fight the americans anyhow.

There is just no rela need for bunker busting nukes. Far simpler to seal the entrance with conventional "smart" bombs, or place it under surveillance. No need to nuke it with something that would throw up a huge cloud of debris. detonanting 50 feet underground isnt deep anough. And for all you USA people out tehre who want to go on about your new bunker buster developed after gulf war one, forget it, it was done in the UK in ww2. Called the grand slam, a ten ton bomb that oculd penetrate something like 30 feet of reinforced concrete after being dropped from 20,000 feet with pinpoint accuracy. The germans in the submarine pens thought they were using rocket propelled bombs.
