All sorts of humorous comments came to mind, given the moderator's location and efforts in WE&P, but I think I'll simply post the link.

Are female fetuses more prone to conjoined twin deformities? Or are they just stronger so they survive it til birth?

If you read, you'll see that this is not really a case of conjoined twins. There is only one brain, apparently, but two faces - she blinks all four eyes at the same time.

Like having an extra arm which moves identically to one of your other arms.
Envisioning the world view from four eyes is making me feel slightly nauseous. I wonder if her brain will learn to treat the input from both sets of eyes separately, or if it will process rather like an insect's eye. Or how two different foods chewed in two different mouths would taste.

I'd simply love to read more about this in a few years, when the girl has grown up and can give information. Her brain has the possibility of becoming rather unique in the way it processes sensory input.

I think its conjoined twins that just didn't get very far. They only barely started to separate. And how do we know there is only 1 brain?

I'm guessing that, based on how her eyes work. Two brains would not make all four eyes blink at the same time.

Not even if they were conjoined?
