On his plane was written By Request.
Bomber pilots requested the Tuskegee airmen.

On his wing he carried machine guns
and a beacon for his country and race.

On his father's tombstone "the 1st Black US Brigadere General"
His tombstone says Ace
Reproving excellence is every mans quest.

General Benjamin Oliver Davis Jr. proved his.
As did all the airmen in his command

with the only perfect record that still stands.

Benjamin Davis Sr. was a Brigadier General and not the Tuskegee
Airman. He was the father of Benjamin Davis Jr., who was.

Peace.

People still fly those planes, I wonder what it would be like to certify on the armament systems?
