Who here likes Turkey?
Chicken?
Duck?
But can't decide which to cook for the family get together?
Stop!
Don't decide.
Cook them all.
Cook a Turducken!
A turkey stuffed with a duck stuffed with a chicken.
Yummy.

Vegan?

Sorry, but I love meat, even the bits that gross most people out:p

They should have stuffed the chicken with quail before cramming it all up a pig's arse.
Anyway, what's so bad about it? You don't have to eat the whole thing surely? Does sticking them all together somehow make it less healthy than eating them seperately? Assuming you have the same amount?

Sam should love this one.
Because of her favourite pasttime of bobbing(or "ducken" as they say in uzbekistakiderkestan) for turds?

Au contraire... I'll eat a whole cow... you know of what the beazilian national dish consists of, don't you?
it's just the thought of putting them all together like that just screamed wrong in my head

Ah! Yes, I see what you mean, but I would still try it once.

I'm a carnivore for sure but I like Thanksgiving sides more than the meat.

Wouldn't there be, like, three rib cages you'd need to get around when carving that monstrosity? Although I must say, it's a great idea, but I'd bet money it was an American's idea. Just seems... so... profoundly... american, i can't put my finger on it...

*edit. nevermind, they filet EVERYTHING?! wow, that's work*

By the way, there's also pig inside. There are two types of stuffing. One is a sausage stuffing.

Mmm.
Meat.

I've never had duck before.
And I don't even really like chicken or turkey. Birds are... bland. I prefer cow.
Cow good.
Mmm.

But this definitely looks interesting.
I'd like to try it.

Lou,

Because of her favourite pasttime of bobbing(or "ducken" as they say in uzbekistakiderkestan) for turds?

Hmm. Maybe so. Maybe so. I've always wondered about her turd bobbing tendencies.

However, I actually thought she'd poo poo this idea. I'm pleasantly surprised.
And slightly aroused...

Sam,

I'm going for a fried turkey dinner Saturday. I hear its something special.

Fried in trans fats, I hope? (Got to get a rise out of you somehow...)

I've never had a fried turkey either. Really need to one of these days. So many people rave about them. Almost makes you think its worth burning down your house just for that wonderful deep fried turkey flavor.

Weed Eater,

Wouldn't there be, like, three rib cages you'd need to get around when carving that monstrosity?

Yup. Deboned. All three. Except for legs and wings. Sounds like a lot of work, but I bet after you've done it a time or two, you could debone the fucker toot sweet.
And, hell, it's gotta cook like 9 hours. This isn't something you just slap together.
This is a Turducken, for christ's sake!

Reminds me. There was a guy here with the name of Turdurken. Or maybe it was Turducken and I always subliminally threw in the extra R. Wonder if he'd ever ate one of these?
I always thought his user name was some form of turd joke.

but I'd bet money it was an American's idea. Just seems... so... profoundly... american, i can't put my finger on it...

Which was part of the reason why I thought Sam would go all health nazi on me.

Varda,

Au contraire... I'll eat a whole cow...

Even the colon?

you know of what the beazilian national dish consists of, don't you?

Deep fried colon?

That bird looks a tad abormal lol. Especially the view of it cut in half like that.

Call me strange but I like my turkey stuffed with a sweet macadamia and herb stuffing.:p

I can't believe that no-one's mentioned that old Saudi-Arabian favourite, Stuffed Camel, yet:

I like the way it casually instructs you to 'place camel on top of rice' without any mention of industrial lifting equipment.

I imagine stuffing meat with fish would ruin everything.
