Hey, this is my first time posting a message in this forum.
I am having a problem downloading files over the Internet.
I just can't download anything. It started yesterday. Can you guys help me?

I use Windows XP.

Considering you are using xp i would put it down to xp's firewall, disable xp's firewall options, it might be the problem, also if you have a third party firewall installed you might want to check out the settings on that aswell. And welcome to the forums :)

How could I get to the settings? And what exactly should I change? I need more details please.

What are you trying to download? And what type of error messages are you getting (if any)?

You'll need to be more specific.

Anything I try to download does not start. All files. Zip, Avi, Ace, Rar, Mpeg, ISO, EXE, Application, All files.

It says only one message.

Internet Explorer cannot download pc-ss.zip from download.com.com. Internet Explorer was not able to open this Internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later.

But in my brother's computer it download it.

Any change for help ?

I tried turning off XP's firewall and reconnecting, but that made no change. Anyone have any other ideas?

I'd appreciate any help.
