The number of "Run away Soldiers " is increasing rapidly due to the increase of resistance operations in Iraq.

Tens of US soldiers are killed and wounded daily.

Smugglers get $5oo for each run away coalition soldier . They say: the Americans choose their way whether through Turkey, Syria or Jordan.

One of the smugglers ,who asked us not to mention his name, told "Al Riyadh" newspaper last friday: He's happy with the "good" money he's making now for two reasons ; the first one is financial , and the second because the occupiers are leaving his country.

Some Iraqi farmers revealed to " Al Riyadh" correspondent some top secret and classified information .

Hamad "48" and Hussein "39" said :

" We saw helicopters dump big black plastic bags six days ago. After the helicopters left, the terrified farmers approached the area where the bags were dumped. They were too scared to open the bags in case they contain explosives that might kill them, but , at last they were too curious that they decided to open the bags.

In the first bag they found " a burned body" , the second bag had "a body of a female soldier with head injury and blood all over her face and hair". In the third bag there was a " soldier all covered with blood , and both his hands were missing. All of the dead bodies were for US soldiers...!!!

The farmers said that they buried those bodies at the same place where they were found . Sources commented on that story saying that US soldiers who do not belong to "The Marines" ,their families won't get $ 200,000 ,if they were killed , so they prefer to run away.

A smuggler said that he helped a soldier and his girl friend to run away . He decided not to cross the boarder at night , but they begged him and paid him double. He finally agreed and helped them cross to the Syrian boarder.

This has to be the stupidest story I have ever heard. Why would they drop dead bodies out of helicopters out onto farmlands? News flash, that's not how America's Millitary treats it's dead.

Let me ask you, if you wanted to hide american deaths, would you dump them on enemy farmland intact with their uniforms on?

If so, you are fairly stupid.

Why wouldn't they just incenerate the body, dump it in the ocean... or... better yet, use it as evidence of Iraqi violence and disorder.

Your father also stole your caps lock key?

Regardless, do you really think that the US would be stupid enough to do this. It would be cheaper, easier, and more secret for them to just burn the bodies. Not load them in a chopper and dump them in a field.

Then the Iraqi's decide to bury them BEFORE taking pictures? Uh huh.

And I heard Saddam dumped his WMDs in a field in Kansas... but the local farmers buried them.

It's stories like this one that make me wonder if freepers are posting posing as arabs - totally off-the-wall stories, with no backing references or proof, and a poster that couldn't be less credible if he tried. Meanwhile, other threads lapse into the archives because the freeper posters can't prevail against their arguments.

since the fall of saddam, the # of newspapers in iraq increased from 9 to 150. the 'news' that some of those papers report are just so damn funny.

theories about iraqi supermarkets being flooded by 'zionist goods', and how iraqis should be vigilant and check every product they buy... to look on the bottom for a "jewish star". even if it says "made in malaysia" check extra few times just in case.

Yeah, after all, it's not as though credible journalists will just magically spring into existence the very day that a larger market for news comes about. These things take time, and the Iraqi people are going to have to learn about reporting standards.

Look at America for instance, our journalism industry is massive, and it's been around for quite some time, however even after so many years of practice, refinement, and cultural feelings of responsibility on the part of most serious journalists, we still somehow ended up with Fox News. Just goes to show that respectable journalism takes a long time to master!

I called your views anglo-centric not because of your refutement of the story the thread-starter unleashed , I called you anglo-centric because of the comments toward his language-skills .

The argument would be another issue , btw you only refuted the part about the helicopter . It is reasonable to consider that there are soldiers who wish to desert , perhaps have lost a pal (i mean quite a few are dying nowadays) hey they're not superman . Ive heard some stories about this as well , sure I dunno but its not fair to say they dont happen .

I think there are articles about this , however USA would obviously never admit and on the other hand Arabs make propaganda as well .

Hey doesnt the same go with that suicide issue ? Or is that validated ?

we still somehow ended up with Fox News. Just goes to show that respectable journalism takes a long time to master!

Foxnews amazes me , rather the opinion about foxnews amazes me .

Ã?nyways its not a question of mastering hournalism in USA , but a question of dividing between bias , and one partical cause gets an "all good" overal .

Anyways moving on to the funny-section :

keep 'em coming you're great

arab propaganda is just so damn funny

Im sure you were talking about thye newspaper and not Iran , but to be sure I though Id remind you Iran isnt Arab .

theories about iraqi supermarkets being flooded by 'zionist goods', and how iraqis should be vigilant and check every product they buy... to look on the bottom for a "jewish star". even if it says "made in malaysia" check extra few times just in case.

You can laugh all you want but its only logical and natural for zionist products to flood the stores as they are the ones who are there now "rebuilding" the economic sectors . They are in charge so their products are the ones who get priority , DUH . You know how many countries cant wait to get in but arent allowed because the USA divides the shit to whom they please ?

I understand how you want to ridicule everything into being Arab propaganda , and although their conspiracy-fear might be very funny now and then , not always is everything bullshit just because it involves zionists .

i read it on the Jerusalem Post website a few days ago. they're a respected website.

Ghassan Kanafani,

"You should learn more critical reasoning." is not a premise its a conclusion, two of which makes a statement or advice. If I had said: "You are attacking others with a ill choice of words, you should learn more critical reasoning" that has premise and conclusion. If you reverse your analyses results then I would be making a red haring fallacy in that now I have diverted the issue on to how you make fallacies. I do not claim otherwise . I said it was a statement and the other part was its argument , you may translate statement to conclusion excuse me if I was not clear enough I assumed the other to be the argument would be enough .

Just because I wrote it first doesnt make it a premis : :D

Statement=conclusion : you should learn more critical reasoning.
Argument=premis : Your Ad Hominem is pathetic .

IF ad hominem pathetic > learn more critical reasoning .

If you reverse your analyses results then I would be making a red haring fallacy in that now I have diverted the issue on to how you make fallacies.

* nobody said anything about racism
* I dont know where around you us , but probably you mean as in your every day life wich I assume is in a country that is of English tongue . There obviously your corrections wouldnt be anglo-centric as you are in the middle of that centre , their relevancy however and value could be debated about but that wasnt my point . The point was that here you are not in the middle of some Anglo-environment but an international one . And from that perspective I find it highly anglo-centric to point out others incapabilities that most probably are simply based because they dont live next door to you .

Obviously the person wasnt of native English tongue , and IMO it only should be celebrated another takes efford to try and express himself in a language that ISNT his but yours in ordr to communicate with you , rather than put him down because of reasons of coincidence and natural division .

Same goes for that silly comment of yours on Ethics-section .
