Don't you find it strange and unusual Bearden provides no math to back up his claims?

Actually in that particular paper he does not provide much in the way of math. However, i've seen other papers of his at the university library, not in recent journals, but in the stacks area. Look for stuff relating to Tom bearden and you'll find the book i'm referring to. He published it way back, don't remember the date. He has lots and lots of derivations in that one, supported with some logical statements. It was over my head as it was mostly argumentation about mathematics; and from the looks of it, it wasn't bogus at all.

I can easily spot fake math, but if this guy is faking it, he's damn good at it... so if I can find an appropriate link i'll see about adding that here. For now, this is all i've seen online. :m:

If it was over your head, then it is unlikely you would recognize the bogusness.

That is exactly it! Bearden is well educated and can easily fool others. But the fact that he is well educated doesn’t retract the fact that he is a kook. He makes money preying on those who are easily convinced and cannot recognize crackpottery.

ANS: I know and understand that many here are impatient with US "kooks" but it would be more helpful if time was taken to give a specific example of a mathematical error or falsehood as proof of your anti-Beardon claim than a simple "he's wrong trust me."
