I was wondering if anyone here has heard of TOK. It stands for theory of knowledge, and like encapsulates everything argued here. im taking it now. its for IB high school. its making me doubt my existence and become very depressed. :m:

By simple logic, you cannot doubt your existence. The act of doubting requires a doubter--the doubter, you, must exist.

Like Rappaccini said, that someone is probably Descartes. And I'm pretty sure he argues that he does exist--in fact, that it's the only thing he knew for sure existed.
