Please list traits that men or females require in order to secure a mate. These should be things you've personally learned or have some knowledge about. This is a scientific analysis not an invite to post ridiculious nonsense. What we're trying to determine here is the evolutionary behaviors, etc. most beneficial (to each sex) and how easily someone secures a spouse using them. I have little to no experience in this area, I can however list a few things that seem to be universal in their importance. 1. Women - Attractiveness From my personal observations I've noticed those who have similar body-types tend to stick together for mating purposes. This means if you are a fat slob then you'll end up with a fat slob, etc. For men the females attractiveness will determine whether or not he purues her, and most will not go after females outside their league. 2. Men - Strength This can mean physical strength or mental. Often times I've seen females latching onto a man that has no real worries, he's often times able to deal with / manage circumstances the female is unable to. These might include financially, emotionally, or other. 3. Men & Woman Social Class Those born within certain frameworks of society usually will not stray outside those boundries when securing a mate. That means if you're poor then good luck getting a rich bitch. The logical aspect of this is simple, many believe if you associate with the lower classes you will become like them. It's a taboo really to think someones social status will effect yours, but it also might hold some truth :shrug: So anyone got some more?

So you wish to add Men - Money Important to the female seems the fact their man has access to funds in order to give her nice things. Clothing, cars, all these require the man makes a great deal and is well off. These have no bereing on his intelligence however as men are usually stupid the higher up you follow... for example CEO's have no brain cells, ie Enron, Verizon, etc. Men - Weight So dragon believes the weight of the man is important as well, sadly I find his accessment not entirely correct. As I said eariler those with similar body-types are able to find a mate matching theirs, so in essence this is not a super-strong determinent of whether you will get laid. If I can understand president's mind...I can be a president myself. Women need a man who can support a family and who can protect it. This means that these men must be strong, ready to survive, loving, make money, and be well. All other women who choose weaklings...are not to be chosen themselves...as they have poor misguided judgment...& will eventually halt their existence and that of offspring from the evolution.

Friends Carolyn the female I like has inadvertantly given me new information to work with. It is not a requirement though, you see I understand all the woman I meet, their heart, etc... I can see how I'd give them love, understanding, and respect, the fact is that empathy alone isn't enough, you must have the other traits first.

Wow, that is a lot of pressure to be under to think like that. My own personal values are very simple and within the home. These values are based on my own and my girlfriends emotional well-being. You seem to reflect the American dream as your ideology. I am not saying that is wrong, but I don't believe it is the best way to live your life. We don't all have to push ourselves to be the very best at everything, because 99% people cannot be the best, this is logical maths that dictates this.
Like I said before dragon, physical appearances don't matter as long as you seek a mate at least equaling yours. That means it's not so important to look fantastic... Now if you want someone hotter than you are that is when it comes into play.
look the problem here...is that you are ok with settling for less and not changing urself...if you dont have much money and not much of a body than you will settle for the same girl... But this is wrong, you must go start now, do pushups and eat healthy food only and find a better job...and improve yourself, so that you dont have to settle for less.
