Iran is run by a bunch of loonies no doubt about that, but from what i gather there is supposed to be a massive jewish community there, considering the iranian government spents day after day slagging off jews, i wonder why we here little of the jews living in iran.

Sooner or later israel or america will attack iran over there nuke ideas, i wonder what will the iranians do with there jewish community then.

I am puzzled why so many jews would want to live in iran, when there government is so hostile to jews, if you offered me a million pounds i would not live there, i got no time for religous police, in my view religous police should all be shot.

Because, as Zak's link shows, the community has been there thousands of years. The majority of them have left, actually, but Iran doesn't treat the remainder badly, I remember reading about a synagogue that was attacked and the Iranian police set up a guard to protect it.

The religious minority treated worst in Iran is probably the Bahais. They're refused entrance to university, have property confiscated, etc. etc. simply because of their religion.
