This just illustrates what is wrong with America: http://www.local6.com/news/2670095/detail.html We all know the response of crowds to situations like this (Kitty Genovese), but there is something so pat about the zombified consumer whores trampling the poor woman. Even worse: Hey! They'll put the dvd player on hold. Peachy. Other things wrong with this country are the psychotic devotees of PETA. Now, I confess a fondness for ecoterrorists - but PETA is inane. At least the Earth Liberation Front blows things up and does cool shit besides make whiny publicity ploys: http://www.veganerotica.com/ Courtousy of SA Let's review: Beating your lover to a bloody, mangled pulp: acceptable. Eating a nice, raw steak with appatizer of shrimp cocktail: unacceptable. Another thing one is happy to have cleared up. While on the subject of sexual devience and red meat: http://www.afa.net/activism/IssueDetail.asp?id=106 These people are in power in government. These people have controlled governments for 2000 years. And yes, they think that a parade of attractive, scantily clad women is "filthy". I'm bored. Damn you all, entertain me.
Sexually frustrated people with a voice in the public make me laugh oh so hard. Mad because you get a chubby watching these women and feel god is mad at you???......
You want disturbing entertainment? You got it; ... hmm should I post it or make it a link? I think I'll make it a link, it would undoubtedly be deleted otherwise; proof japan needs another nuke, or a large sack of money, I haven't decided
Here's something. The Olsen Twins are number 61 on FHMs list of the 100 sexiest women. http://www.fhm.com/halle/launch.htm *EDIT* And Joleen Blalock, T'Pol from Enterprise, is number 10! Still no Xenia Silverberg though.
xev the first link although mildly amusing at first glance, serves to illustrate the slightly disturbing direction in which society as a whole is travelling in. I don't think it's a reflection of just American society but rather, indicitive of society as a whole (as I mentioned earlier) Have we really arrived at a stage where our happiness, sense of well being and fullfilment are defined by electrical goods?? Again I don't think this problem is specific to geography but rather, more worryingly is a reflection of the state of the entire species. I equate it (strangely) to diahrrea, whereby we seem to have lost some control over some part of the essence of ourselves rendering us like some weakned sphincter muscle.
My first reaction was "xev's disturbed? - thats impossible." Why do you want us to entertain you? I mean, when I find sciforums not entertaining, i go do something else, write a story, talk to friends, etc. not sit about moaning about how mad people are, when I know it already. you could get religion you know. As a random bone to the dog, I suggest some Celia Green, if you havnt already heard of her: http://www.celiagreen.com/ her own website. She has abit of a persecution complex, but thinks some odd stuff, although not so much of it is very new, in my opinion, but still a bit entertaining. http://www.theabsolute.net/minefield/humevas.html Someone has put one of her books online, I reccomend this one. You might have fun with the website that hosts it as well. I lok forwards to your reaction, but dont get het up at me, because im away from internet access for a few days.
