As an outsider, I can't help noticing that you Christians differ from one another as much as any people. Some of you think that you are just so much more "Christian" than the rest. That attitude violates so many of Christ's teachings as well as the good wisdom of the earlier prophets, that even I can see it just from having grown up in a rather secularized Christian nation. There are entire sects of Christianinty whose adherents don't consider members of other sects to even really be Christians, in their eyes you're only slightly more advanced than Jews and Muslims.

i agree completely, yeah, but hey, that's most of our great nation these days, right wing, extremist ultra-conservative close minded etc etc. might have to consider the idea of getting used to this kind of attitude.

He could have kept things a bit shorter and more to the point if he'd just written:

You should have told him that he is not a real Christian. Real Christians do not judge, and are not selfrighteous. A real Christian would embrace any roommate especially the worst roommate in the same way that Jesus embraced the wrtched instead of the self righteous pharasees.. You should have told him that you are a real Christian that embraces all, and that you will be the one that will be praying for him because he is the one in need of Jesus.
