Here's one from the "For the love of god, stop remaking old TV shows" department: the Sci-Fi network is going to start churning out Battlestar Galactica (http://www.scifi.com/battlestar/) episodes. The biggest shock, apart from the realization once again that nobody in showbiz can come up with an original concept anymore, is in the Starbuck role: Face (http://www.dirkbenedictcentral.com/Facemanpage.html) has been replaced by head (http://www.cinemorgue.com/kateesackhoff.html)
:m: Peace.

When I first started to hear reports about this, I was like "No, it's not true. It can't be!" and then I saw the commercials on scifi channel. It’s like Battlestar 1980 all over again.
Goofy, it's not a remake, it’s a reimagining.
I think this show could be really good... if done right.
That said, I haven't liked a single 'SciFi Original'. Just take Tremors... please (drumroll)
The only two good, non-rerun shows were Stargate and Farscape... one they canceled, the other they are slowly killing (but was a hit because of HBO/Fox, not SciFi channel)
